system won't recognize FDDI inetrface after upgrading PROM

2007-12-25 10:35:00

I have found myself for this one. The 32-bit kernel is the default on 200

Mhz and lower UltraSPARC systems. the one I had the problem is 296 MHz

by default come up with 64-bit kernel, which won't recognize the FDDI

interface. Switch to the 32-bit kernel, everything comes normal.
