Hello Admins,

I have an E450 where originally I had 1 Quad PCI LAN Card in slot 1 (bottom PCI slot).

I added another Quad PCI LAN Card and changed the LAN Cards position like this:

Before ------------ Now

Slot Number ------- Slot Number

10

9

8

7 ----- Empty ----- 7 Quad LAN Card

6

5

4

3

2 ----- Empty ----- 2 Quad LAN Card

Before I had 4 device files for qfe0, qfe1, qfe2 and qfe4

Now I have 8 device files:

qfe4, qfe5, qfe6 and qfe7 for one LAN Card and

qfe8, qfe9, qfe10 and qfe11 for the other LAN Card

Is there any way to reconfigure the device files so that I have

qfe0, qfe1, qfe2 and qfe3 for one LAN Card and

qfe4, qfe5, qfe6 and qfe7 for the other LAN Card ?

Any help will be appreciated.

TIA,
