UW-IMAP server behavior

I installed an IMAP4 server (UW-IMAP4rev1 2000.284) on Solaris 2.6. Its
working fine, IMAP clients can access their mailboxes and retrieve their
mail, but I'm having a problem of connection time out on IMAP sessions. When
the connection time out occurs it logs off the current session.
I'm not sure if this timeout is the responsibility of the OS or IMAP server.
Any ideas how can I stop this time out from happening?.
