bumping up controller number

becuase of 3 extra SBUS cards on the system boards. New system running
Solaris 8 only has D240 as the Fiber hba's are coming up as c1 and
c2. Is there any kludge available to bump up the controller number
from c1 to c4, possibly by way of fake driver or shim?
Vxvm was too cost prohibitive for original server. Trying to make
migration seamless for DBA's 100 luns on these 2 controllers, although
if no solution arises(or solution too complex), he will re-address all
devnames for his devices.
