back up, I can no longer lock my screen from the CDE lock icon nor does my
machine lock as it used to after 15 minutes of inactivity. If I issue the
xlock -v command I get a bunch of output (as expected) along with the
following error:
xlock: can't get the user password. Exiting.......
You need to run xlcok in setuid root mode on your local machine. Contact you
sys admin.
I never had this problem until I took the machine down over the weekend. Any
ideas?
