Ultra 60 - Solaris 9 installation problems

I'm trying to install solaris 9 on a Ultra 60. I tried booting from the cdrom
( {ok} boot cdrom). But the machine hangs on me. All the devaliases are
valid. When I tried to boot from the cdrom, all I get is the following:
boot device /pci at 1f,4000/scsi at 3/disk at 6,0:f File and args:
That's where it hangs. I tried set-defaults couple of times, but no effect.
Also, what's safe course of action, when a freezeup like this happens?
