Resolution problems with Creator 3d and non-sun monitor

I've run in to a problem with the Creator 3d in my Ultra 10.
I'm using a non-sun 13w3 to VGA adapter and a old MAG DJ920 monitor.
I'm runnig Solaris 10, also tried with Solaris 9.
If I try to change resolution (even to a lower) to any other then
1152x900x66 to screen gets black. I've tried 1600x1200x75 at my PC
without any problems with the same monitor.
