JETDIRECT print que - how to monitor?

Hi all

I have configured a printer using JETDIRECT software on Solaris 8 , it works
fine. But I cannot see the print que using " lpq "
command , it gives the following error.

$/usr/ucb/lpq -P < printername>
" could not talk to print server "

printer working without any problem . My question is how to monitor the
print jobs using lpq command ?
Is there any other command I have use for Jetdirect to monitor the que ?

Any help would be appreciated
