Jumping Netra X1

I am trying to jump a netra X1 to Sol 8 but get the following message after
boot net - install
Cannot load drivers for /pci at 1f/ethernet at c
Can't load the root filesystem
> Type 'go' to resume
> ok
I have searched the archive and found that this problem has been discovered
when using an Intel box as the Jumpstart server. However, in my case my
jumpstart server is a netra T1. Has anyone successfully jumped an X1 off a
T1 ? Will this ever work or is there a fundemental reason why it will never
do so.
Any help is greatly appreciated in advance
