moving /var/adm/sa

My /var is getting too big due to /var/adm/sa
I will not be able to get another hard drive until the
end of the month. If I had another hard drive I would
just move my /var to the new drive. Unfortunately due
to budget problems, I will have to make due with what
I have.

I have the primary disk as a 4gb hard drive with a
200mb var partition. I have another 8gb drive that is
formatted as an entire partition and being mounted as
/stuff. Since I run sar, I was thinking that maybe I
can just move the contents of /var/adm/sa over to
/stuff/sa. I can just ln -s /var/adm/sa to /stuff/sa.
Is this a good idea?
Is there another way to have sar out put its info to
some other directory other than /var/adm/sa?

Thanks.
