i'm editing the solaris 8 kernel source, and right now my system doesn't
complete its boot. i'm printing tons of status output to the console
during boot to help with debugging, but the problem is that it scrolls
past too quickly for me to read it. since the file system isn't mounted
yet at the point where the boot hangs, i can't use dmesg later on to
examine this output. is there any way to capture the text that's being
written to the screen as it's written and write it somewhere else, too,
like to a file on my linux box? i'd be grateful for any help on this.
