Moving CPU's

I'd like to exchange CPU's between a E420R, and a E450. The 450 has 2 296mhz
CPU's, with a 99mhz system clock. The 420 has 2 450mhz CPU's, with a 113mhz
clock. Is this as simple as just moving the CPU's, or do I need to modify
the system clock or anything else?
The 420 hardware answerbooks say the UPA clock is derived from the CPU
clock, but it's rather vague as to wether this is automatic or not.
