how to interpret ipcs output

Highly appreciate if anyone out there can enlighten me
on the following two issue.

[1] How to interpret the ipcs -a output? Any good
recommended site?

[2] Can I set lotsfree in Solaris 2.6? Any recommended
site to dig out more info?
