cannot Boot from Cdrom for installing Sun Solaris 8

can anyone suggest to me how to overcome this problem
I have a SUN SparcStation 20 with a Toshiba XM-4101B cdrom.
I have tried to boot both Sun Solaris 8 and NetBSD 4.7 and faced the same
result.
But if I tried with another cdrom it booted automatically.
ok> boot cdrom
i get the error
cant read disk label
cant open disk label
cant open boot device
could any one suggest me what is this error
i apperciate if any one can throw some light to this
problem
