Moving kit.

Hi,

A set of systems I manage is being relocated from one hosting provider to
another. Although I'm trying to avoid it if possible there is the chance
that this will require
changing the IP addressing to suit the new location. The recommended method
to change system IP configs is sys-unconfig. However, since this is not a
bare system
my questions relate to layered apps. The boxes run Oracle, Veritas VM and
Netbackup, Weblogic and a failover product RSF-1. Thus I'm looking for any
war stories from people who have been through the same kind of relocation
and who use any of these products.

For info hostnames will definitely be preserved and at present there is
little dependence on DNS. Virtually all info on connected systems comes
straight out of the hosts file.
