SUMMARY: jumpstart problem
2007-12-24 19:08:00
Thanks to Wyman Miles, Buddy Lumpkin, Moti Levy, and Darren Dunham who
suggested I needed to run a script from the "Operating Environment CD"
in order to jumpstart Solaris 2.6 on machines with CPU speeds greater
than 419MHz.
On the CD:
./modify_install_server -d <jumpstart_image_location>
The other problems I encountered involved a sysidcfg file that had some
Solaris 8 specific syntax in it. After I modified the sysidcfg to be
Solaris 2.6 compliant the jumpstart ran without intervention.
Thanks again.
