veritas inconsistency

veritas vm v3.1 is running, per vxdctl mode.

vxdisk list shows only one of two luns.

format clearly shows these disks.

yet veritas commands fail.

lun #1 is added as disk01 in rootdg.

i want lun #2 to be disk02 in rootdg...how can i fix this?
