X-display cannot start

Hi Sun Managers,

Please help me to solve a problem with my E250 display. If the monitor is plugged in, system will come up to just right before the GUI being displayed, and gives this error: The X-display cannot be started on display :0..

The system then will lock up with yellow light flashing. The ok prompt says: type go to resume, but the KB locks up too. I can only power off on back on

If I unplug the monitor, system will come up and I can telnet to the system.
