Resyncing during mirroring

I have a strange behaviour in my Solaris 8 system. I
have used Disksuite 4 or mirroring. I have mirrored by
1st HDD to 2 nd HDD.
s1 is my root. I was working on it and i did
metaattach to resync the root slices and I copied the
boot blk and i reboted the system. Then made some
changes in the nvram to make the alias disk boot.
Suudenly when i found my second disk not booting, I
made my first disk to boot. and when i saw the
metastat for the slice, it was resyncing . How can the
resync take plcae again after this. Already I am
pretty sure that the resync was over.
But my other slices does not show this. They give me
correct information. Any idea ?
