cannot logout from the console

I connot logout from our server's (Solaris 8, E4500) console with the
command error : "Action:ExitSession [err] TT_ERR_NO_MATCH There is no
running program tp handle this message, nor there is a static ptype to start
such a program. Check whether the application ... "(it was cut).
The server is served hundreds of users, so we cannot try to shut it down in
the present time.
Please suggest.
