Hi!

On a solaris 8 system though dump device is configured as
shown below.

# dumpadm
Dump content: kernel pages
Dump device: /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s1 (dedicated)
Savecore directory: /var/crash/bhicesgdb1
Savecore enabled: yes

But when I reboot the system ,I get an error message that there is no dump device configured. why..?

# dmesg|grep -i dump
Jan 11 00:08:10 bhicesgdb1 savecore: [ID 686316 auth.error] no dump device configured
Jan 11 00:08:16 bhicesgdb1 savecore: [ID 686316 auth.error] no dump device configured
