        Hey Gang,

Thx for such a rapid response! In short comments are unanimous - no

problems (see below). -MAA-

        Comments on installs:

I did it on 2.6 on two heavily-used servers with no problem.

I just upgraded from 2.1.4 to 2.5.2 today. No problems whatsoever. A lot
of the stuff from 2.1.4 was in popper.h, and now half of that is moved to
config.h.

I just did this yesterday. I loaded 2.52 in a different location,
then changed the /etc/inetd.conf to point to the new location,
then did a kill -HUP on the inetd process, and all was well.

Did it yesterday morning on four different POP servers. It was
straightforward and there have been no complaints (yet!) from our
population of 10,000+ lively users.

It is, of course, a security issue, so it would be wise to do it sooner
rather than later.

Just done it here, after the Cert Advisory, and it worked fine. We
upgraded during the working day, and no-one even noticed.

We went from 2.4 to 2.52.

Yes, I've done the upgrade. It went without a problem.
