Veritas Storage Administrator (3.0.1) and firewalls
2007-12-24 19:59:00
I'm trying to get the Windows based Veritas Storage Administrator client
working with a remote Unix based VMSA server. However, between the two
machines there are layers of firewalls and, as the ports aren't open, the
client can't attach to the server. The difficulty I'm having is that
Veritas' European Support have no idea what ports need to be open on the
firewall to allow communication between the client and server via the
firewall.
Has anyone got this working and if so could you please let me know the
required ports?
Many thanks,
