MRTG and Sun SNMP
2007-12-24 19:39:00
I have MRTG installed and am trying to monitor the data traffic to one of our
backup servers. The interface is a gigabit ethernet interface, but when I
query the statistics with MRTG it does not give me the full bandwith of the
interface. I try to query it with SNMP v2c and it comes back with errors
about not being able to get the information for several objects. Has anyone
come accros this before.
The line I am trying to use to create my mrtg.cfg file is...
./cfgmaker --global 'WorkDir: /usr/local/httpd/htdocs/mrtg' --global
'Options[_]: bits,growright' --output /usr/local/mrtg-2/cfg/mrtg.cfg
--ifref=descr robot1::1:1::2
The machine is running solaris 2.6 and my mrtg version 2.9.10
Any help would be appreciated.
